Our story begins 37 years ago, when Edith came to this country with the hope to start a new life for herself.
Edith's journey from her humble roots in Cartagena, Colombia, to becoming a successful businesswoman in Utah- is a beautiful tale of resilience and connection to her ancestral heritage. Raised in a family deeply rooted in the traditions of her Indigenous and African ancestors, Edith gained a profound respect for nature and the environment.
In her mid-20s, driven by a vision of a brighter future, Edith made the courageous move to the US. Eager to make a living and inspired by the practices ingrained in her, she turned to house cleaning. Armed with a strong work ethic, unwavering determination, and a keen eye for detail, Edith ventured into entrepreneurship by starting a solo cleaning service.
Now, after 37 years, Edith has not only carved a successful career as a housekeeper but has also cultivated a loyal clientele. Her story takes a heartwarming turn as she is now collaborating with her daughter, Eliana, to expand the business into Karma Cleaning. Edith's journey embodies the spirit of hard work, heritage, and the enduring pursuit of a brighter future.

Upon arriving in the US, she remained steadfast in her commitment to these principles, embracing a lifestyle of recycling, reusing, and opting for organic, eco-friendly products and foods whenever possible.
As she ventured into the cleaning business, Edith encountered a common issue: conventional cleaning products laden with harsh chemicals. These took a toll on her skin, leaving it dry and irritated over time. In response, she took matters into her own hands, concocting cleaning solutions from simple, natural ingredients such as vinegar, essential oils, and baking soda. To her surprise, these homemade alternatives not only matched but often surpassed the efficacy of store-bought counterparts, devoid of harmful additives.
Now, as Edith expands her cleaning enterprise, her vision extends beyond business success. She aspires to weave an environmental impact into every facet of her work. This commitment is exemplified by her dedication to using 100% clean, natural, eco-friendly products and methods, echoing her belief that small choices can make a significant difference for our planet.
